Sunshine Estates is situated immediately east of the City of Swift Current, the fifth-largest city in Saskatchewan. The community is conveniently situated on the north side of the Trans-Canada Highway, approximately 1.5 km east of the city. It fronts Ponderosa Trail, which runs parallel to the Trans-Canada Highway. Swift Current Mall, the premier shopping centre for southwest Saskatchewan, features Safeway, Staples, Medi-Centre, Telus, Warehouse One, Petro-Canada, Burger King, and Boston Pizza, with Walmart Supercentre and Canadian Tire located adjacent to the east. Cypress Regional Hospital, located on the northeast side of the city, was completed in 2007 and has quickly become one of Saskatchewan's leading acute healthcare facilities. Other services include the RCMP, the fire department, and ambulance services. Sunshine Estates is a partially treed community offering single-family homes for sale or rent.
